19 of Medvedev's twenty-one titles have been won on hard surfaces
A resurgent Daniil Medvedev secured his initial trophy for 882 days with success over opponent Moutet in the competition championship match.
Medvedev, a ex- top-ranked player, has experienced a challenging year, winning just a single victory at the Grand Slams and undergoing a difficult moment at the US Open.
The player's unpredictability on the ATP Tour - and issues with his service game in particular - resulted in him falling of the world's top 10 and finally separating with long-term coach his previous coach.
Presently training with Thomas Johansson and his other coach, the tennis star has steadily progressed in the past month - culminating in a closely contested competitive win over opponent Moutet.

The win also signifies the Russian has won 21 victories at twenty-one various events.
"It's the first time I am participating in a event with my two daughters at once, so to get a championship is particularly special," stated ranked player Daniil Medvedev.
"This victory is in dedication of my second daughter my daughter, because the maiden victory I achieved when my first daughter my daughter was born was for her."
The tennis star, the past champion, had been defeated in his past six title deciders, comprising in that event earlier this year.
The player's counter-punching approach and frequent emotional displays on court had caused some to doubt if his capacity to compete at the elite level was concluded.
Yet the 29-year-old has altered his approach in recent weeks, attempting to advance forward and perform assertively, reinforced by an enhanced serve.
He came back from a break down in the first set against the challenging Frenchman, winning four of the last five games to gain the advantage.
The pair exchanged breaks in the second set before the Frenchman, striving for his initial professional championship, gained dominance to force a third set.
Moutet saved four initial break points in a tight final set before the champion broke to fifteen to close out the victory.
Appropriately, Medvedev earned the win with a rally at the net area, with his opponent unable to handle a shot after over two and a half hours.
