Administration Denounces 'Democratic Hoax' as Further Jeffrey Epstein Photographs Made Public

House Democrats have published a additional set of what they labeled "alarming" photographs from the estate of adjudicated sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, featuring among others Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and former British royal Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

The first release of 19 photographs—a portion of which have been seen before—along with another 70 released later on Friday constitute a minuscule portion of the approximately 100,000 images handed over to the House oversight committee, which is examining the behavior and associations of Epstein.

The disgraced financier was a victim of an apparent self-inflicted death in a New York prison cell in 2019 after being indicted on sex-trafficking offenses.

Prominent Personalities in the Photos

Featured among the notable figures visible in the first release are well-known figures featuring movie maker Woody Allen; Microsoft creator Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, founder of the Virgin business group.

Donald Trump is featured in three of the first nineteen images. In one, he is pictured with six women, whose faces are blacked out.

Administration Response

The White House addressed the release in a statement, alleging Democrats of selectively "hand-picking" the images for political purposes and to "attempt to fabricate a false account."

"The Democrat hoax against President Trump has been time and again refuted," a presidential representative said, asserting that "this presidency has achieved more for Epstein's victims than Democrats have ever done by repeatedly calling for transparency, making public numerous documents of records, and urging further investigations into Epstein's Democratic associates."

Congressional Democrat Comment

The photographs were published without context, but as stated by a Democratic representative from California and senior member of the investigative panel, they prompt further inquiries about Epstein's links with affluent people.

"It is time to stop this White House obfuscation and deliver justice to the victims of Jeffrey Epstein and his well-connected allies," he said in a comment.

The release of these images comes as the oversight committee continuing its inquiry into the affair.
